Yoga Teacher Training

In association with Rishikul Yogshala (one of the leading yoga schools in India), we offer the 200 hour yoga teacher training program to all those who are looking for a deep spiritual transformation or those who wish to evolve into empowered individuals and spread the ancient science by becoming a Yoga Alliance certified teacher. The 200 hour residential training program is conducted at our resort only and guided by the experienced and highly knowledgeable yoga teachers of Rishikul Yogshala. During this 28 day program, accommodation will be provided at our resort (you can choose the room type) and you’ll be provided three vegetarian meals a day along with servings of herbal drinks and tea. As a beginner level training program, the course will focus on different aspects of the ancient science some of which are:

Hatha Yoga – If you want to remove the toxins that have built up in your body then Hatha Yoga is your answer. You will learn the postures and breathing techniques that will help you purify the body. Any kind of bad habit such as smoking, drinking, overeating or oversleeping can be stopped through yoga. You can successfully curb your cravings by regularly practicing Hatha yoga which will further aid in your overall health. Moreover, Hatha yoga is beneficial in solving many health-related issues. Besides relaxing the tensed muscles, yoga also aids in digestion and proper blood circulation.

Ashtanga Yoga – This form of yoga is for those who would like to challenge themselves and push their limits. It is a highly structured practice and the sequences are predefined depending on one’s personal level. One of the most popular styles of yoga, Ashtanga yoga was introduced in the West by Sri K. PattabhiJois in the 1970s. This rigorous style of yoga follows specific sequences of poses done in a fast-paced, continuous manner. The practice consists of an opening series, main series, a back-bending sequence, and a finishing sequence.

Vinyasa Yoga – While doing Vinyasa Yoga, the most important thing is to focus on the way you inhale and exhale while you move from one posture to another. Commonly known as ‘flow yoga’ Vinyasa yoga sessions have a variety of postures and no two sessions are ever the same, like Ashtanga or Bikram yoga. Some of the benefits of practicing this type of yoga include – strength training, proper breathing, improved flexibility, detoxification, and stress relief.

Meditation – This technique of concentrating your mind to focus on either one thought or no thought at all has helped people to heighten their state of awareness. This is a kind of conscious sleeping while being aware of your surroundings. For ages, people have used this technique in different cultures to reduce stress, control anxiety, augment self-awareness, improve attention span, and promote emotional health.

Pranayama – The word pranayama is an amalgamation of two Sanskrit words – ‘prana’ which means ‘life force’ (particularly ‘breath’) and ‘yama’ which means ‘control’. Through Pranayama, you can learn to control your breath and increase positive energy levels in your body. It is the link between physical (asanas) and mental (meditation) yogic practices. There are ample benefits of practicing pranayama regularly such as – relax the body and mind, improve blood circulation, relieve stress, anxiety, and hypertension, etc.
